White Wings Farm - Easy, Healthy Food

When you need a quick, easy treat for your birds try the items from White Wings Farm. All products are human grade and mostly organic. No additives such as sugar, salt or preservatives. Great for Finches to Macaws!

Some of the favorites to try are:

Bombay Biscuits: A chile peppered, hot, curried little cookie that packs a punch. Absolutely NOT for the human mouth, created strictly for the feathers, this is a crunchy little treat. The size of a walnut, hard as we can pack and bake them, these little balls are packed with all the things the feathers like best: texture, crunch, heat and LOTS of flavor. For your satisfaction, we also made them nourishing. For Senegals to Macaws.

Kermit's Mash (A Shauna's Mash Recipe):

Don't let making mash intimidate you.This first base mix is  a healthy blend of organic ingredients: sprouting barley, buckwheat, quinoa,  adzuki, lentils, mung and  whole peas.

This mash recipe is very low in saturated fat, cholesterol and sodium. It is a good source of dietary fiber, protein, thiamin, folate, magnesium and phosphorus and a very good source of manganese.

It offers 17% protein.

For each serving add the same amount of produce as grains/legumes mash base. We also recommend adding an omega 3 source such as chia or flax seed. Produce suggestions are: dark leafy greens such as kale, turnip greens or dandelion greens, collards. Also a provitamin A foods such as carrots, sweet potato squash, dark leafy greens


Soak for 8 to 12 hours then cook or sprout.  1/2 cup dry mix will yield approx. 1.5 cups of cooked grains/legumes.
